Council's Community Partnership Grants program has funded club building repairs, general equipment, furniture, safety gear, promotional signage, environmental protection programs, heritage projects, events, and festivals.
Council promotes funding opportunities twice a year and hosts drop-in sessions across the Shire so potential grant applicants have all the support they need to submit their application.

Application evaluation
Grants are considered for initiatives by eligible community groups that meet the objectives of the Southern Grampians Shire Council Community Partnership Grants Policy(PDF, 156KB).

Tell us how your grant was used
After you have completed your project, you must tell us how you spent the grant money and what the outcomes of the project were. This is known as an acquittal process, acquitting is a mandatory part of all Southern Grampians Shire Council Community Partnership Grants.
You can access the acquittal form via the . Your Acquittal Report must be completed within 60 days after the conclusion of the project/event.
How to access the acquittal form.
- Login to
- Log in using the 'Login' section using the email address and password you used when you first registered to complete the online grant application form.
- If you have forgotten your password, click on 'Forgotten your password?' link and enter your email address. You will be emailed a link which will allow you to create a new password.
- At the top of the page, click 'My Submissions' tab
- Open and complete the acquittal form for the relevant grant
- Don't forget to submit the acquittal form
