Alternative Development Plan
Council has received a request to approve an alternative Development Plan under Clause 43.04 of the Southern Grampians Planning Scheme. Council seeks comment from affected landowners and residents within the relevant area of what is currently known as the Hensley Park Road Residential Precinct, Hamilton as part of its consideration of the request. Only part of this precinct is affected by the proposed alternative Development Plan. The existing Hensley Park Road Residential Precinct Masterplan, 2011 remains valid, though the alternative Development Plan would supersede be read as the approved development plan for affected land if approved.
The proposed alternative development plan and associated documents are available for public perusal during this notice period. A subdivision proposal – lodged as application TP-16-2025 – is being assessed concurrently for 356 Beveridges Road, Hamilton and will be determined separately, but the documents of this application are available to be read in conjunction with the proposed alternative development plan for context.
Submissions are to be made in writing to planning@sthgrampians.vic.gov.au by Wednesday 30 July 2025 and must include:
- The full name of the submitter,
- The postal address of the submitter and
- Detailed comments relating to the likely impacts of the proposed Development Plan on the submitter.
