Preparation for 2024/25 fire season begins

The time to prepare for the upcoming fire season is here, with Council’s Municipal Fire Prevention Officers set to commence property inspections across the Southern Grampians over the coming weeks. Arrangements have also been made to make it easier to get rid of excess green waste at the Hamilton Transfer Station until 10 November.

Hamilton Indoor Leisure & Aquatic Centre

The Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that provides community access to an array of sports and leisure facilities.
The centre includes an eight lane, heated, 25 metre indoor pool, gym, stadium, tennis courts, squash courts and more.

Greater Hamilton Library

Southern Grampians Shire Council is committed to delivering quality library services to residents and communities across the Shire.

Hamilton Cinema

Owned and operated by Council, the Hamilton Cinema is a one-screen, 120 seat theatre featuring both new releases and classic films Wednesday through Sunday. Patrons can enjoy a complete moviegoing experience right here in Hamilton with freshly popped popcorn.
