Our Online Planning & Building Portal (Greenlight) is your one-stop-shop for all requests relating to planning permits and applications.
Creating an account is quick and easy
You can now use your email address and password to log into the system.
Go into Greenlight. Select the permit type you want to apply for and choose ‘Enter a new application’. After you log in, follow the instructions to complete the process.
You can also pay for your application fee online (credit card only).
You can submit all types of documents electronically through the Portal when lodging an application, submission or providing additional information. This will be requested at relevant stages of the process.
To add the document to the system, simply browse the files on your device and attach it when required. If you have difficulty submitting your documents, please contact the Planning Services Team.
Log in to the Portal. Click ‘My Applications’ in the menu.
Here you will be able to view the status of your past and current applications.
The planning register is available in Greenlight. This register provides a list that you can search of all planning permit applications and previously issued permits.
You will only see the address, status and description of the permit – you cannot view the documents.
Applications under public notification can be viewed in Greenlight.
Simply navigate to ‘view applications on advertising or lodge an objection' in the menu.
If an application is up for public notification, you can lodge an objection.
To lodge an objection, go to the Online Planning & Building Portal and navigate to ‘view applications on advertising or lodge an objection' where you can search for the property.
