Join the community in marking 60 years of the Peter Francis Points Arboretum - a milestone that recognises decades of conservation, volunteer effort and quiet beauty of this much-loved landscape. The afternoon begins at midday with a relaxed barbecue, a chance to reconnect with friends, share memories and celebrate the people and projects that have shaped the Arboretum's story.
Later, hear a short overview of the Arboretum's history and be there for the launch of the new Strategic Plan, which sets a clear path for future conservation, improved access and thoughtful visitor experiences. The celebration continues with a guided walk to the new lookout, where you can take in sweeping views, see one of the latest additions firsthand and reflect on the achievements of the past six decades.
Whether you've been involved since the early days or are visiting for the first time, this anniversary gathering offers a warm welcome, a sense of shared purpose and an easy afternoon spent among trees, ideas and good company.
