Coleraine Pedal Car Grand Prix

The Australian Pedal Car Grand Prix brings energy and colour to Coleraine, set against the landscapes of the Western District. 

This healthy, low-impact event features teams racing pedal-powered vehicles in the two-hour endurance challenge, weaving through McConochie, Pilleau and Robertson Streets, with the start and finish on McConochie beside the lagoon.

The event is based at the Coleraine Tourist Information Centre, adjoining the lagoon precinct, providing a scenic backdrop for participants and spectators.

Team entries and categories:

• Junior (13 years and under): 4-8 pedallers, plus two pit crew
• Open (13 years and over, including adults): 4 pedallers, plus two pit crew
• Elite (14 years and over): 4 pedallers

Teams can build their own pedal car or hire one from the organising committee.

The Grand Prix welcomes community groups, schools, families, and sporting clubs to take part in a lively, inclusive, and environmentally conscious event.
