From Friday 3 April to Sunday 19 April, families across the Southern Grampians can look forward to a packed calendar of fun and affordable activities designed to keep young people entertained.

Almost every day of the break offers something exciting to do. Whether your kids love being active, creative, or just having fun, we’ve got it all. Scavenger hunts, bushwalking, Zumba parties, arts and crafts and much more. The majority of these activities will be offered for free or for a small cost, with events aimed at all different ages.

Southern Grampians Shire Council Deputy Mayor Cr Helen Henry said the program reflects Council’s commitment to providing accessible, inclusive opportunities for local families

“The days are getting shorter, so this is a great chance for families to get out, connect and enjoy everything our community has to offer before winter sets in,” Cr Henry said.

“We’ve curated a schedule of activities that range across our services including the library, the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre and HILAC. These activities cater not just to our primary school aged children but also offer a number of great opportunities for young adults to connect and have fun.”
