Adam was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia with his family in 1999, settling in the rural town of Branxholme, Victoria.
Growing up on a dairy farm shaped his lifelong connection to agriculture and rural life. Adam completed his schooling at The Hamilton and Alexandra College and later Ballarat and Clarendon College.
In 2003, Adam was drafted into the AFL by the Fremantle Dockers, where he spent six years as a professional athlete. After his time with the Dockers, he relocated to Sydney and completed a Masters in People Management and Organisations an experience that strengthened his understanding of leadership, team culture, and business management.
In 2017, Adam and his wife Rebecca returned to Branxholme to take on the management of their family dairy farm. Today, he oversees the operations of a 1,400 head dairy herd and lead a dedicated team of 13 staff.
Alongside with his work on the farm, Adam is proud to serve as a Councillor and remain actively involved in the local community through the Branxholme Football Club, The CFA, and the Branxholme Progress Committee.
Most importantly, Adam is a proud husband and father of two children, Thatcher and Ivy.
