Southern Grampians Shire Council has tabled its 2024/25 Annual Report, highlighting strong progress across major projects, financial stability, and the continued delivery of services which support the region’s communities.

Presented by Mayor Dennis Heslin at an Unscheduled Council Meeting on 22 October, the Annual Report provides a transparent account of Council’s performance over the past financial year. The report also details progress towards the goals set out in the Council Plan 2021–2025.

Cr Heslin said the report captures the dedication of Council staff, community groups and partners working together to deliver positive outcomes for the whole Shire.

“These achievements demonstrate Council’s ongoing commitment to strengthening our region through investment in infrastructure, creativity, sustainability and community wellbeing. Many of this year’s biggest achievements were identified by members of the community through the budget submission process, which is fantastic outcome for those community groups.”
