Preparatory works will commence Monday 12 January 2026 for footings of permanent street lighting along Cox Street.
Works will be undertaken in sections to minimise disruption to residents, businesses and road users. Works will take approximately one week to complete (weather permitting), with the second stage of pole installation scheduled for mid-February once footings have cured.
Temporary Solar Street Lighting currently located along Cox Street will remain in place until new permanent lighting is installed and functional.
Please expect temporary traffic changes including reduced speeds and detours in place while works are underway.
Take care when travelling in the area and consider an alternative route while these are completed.
