Submit Your Event

The Submit Your Event Form allows you to:

- Notify Council of your intent to host an event in the Southern Grampians Shire
- Have your event considered for inclusion in Council's Events Marketing Campaigns
- Book Council's marquee, umbrellas, waste wise trailer
- Book Council owned facilities and venues
- Access Council-subsidised event signage
- Access links to advice on permits and permissions you may need to apply for to host a legally compliant event

SUBMIT YOUR EVENT HERE

  • For events to be considered for inclusion in our AUTUMN WINTER Events Marketing Campaign, including events occurring in March - August, the deadline for submissions is usually mid December.
  • The deadline for events to be considered for inclusion in our SPRING SUMMER Events Marketing Campaign, including events occurring in September - February the deadline for submissions is usually mid June.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to adapt our marketing strategies, so these dates are subject to change. Please submit your event at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to assist you. Note: COVIDSafe Events

The Victorian Government has a 3 Tier Public Events Framework in place, see www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/public-events.

Event organisers must submit their events, and a COVIDSafe Plan or Checklist, to the Victorian Government- this a separate process to this 'Submit Your Event' Form for Southern Grampians Shire Council.

Updating Your Event Listing

You can 'Save' your event details on the "Submit Your Event" form, and will be emailed a link to bookmark for updates.

It's your responsibility to notify Council about any updates, alterations or changes to your event, event contact details or pricing to ensure all published details are accurate on each of our channels at time of print.

It is also your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct permits and permissions for any additions or changes to your event.
Event promotion is at the discretion of the Visitor Experience team and we reserve the right to reject or remove event listings at our discretion, and to edit the event description to better promote your event offering and suit the channel through which your event is being promoted.

Note

It is the responsibility of the event organiser to hold an appropriate public liability insurance and to also determine the need for any necessary permits required to host a safe and legally compliant event. Southern Grampians Shire Council accept no liability on behalf of the event whatsoever.
