Michael Tudball - Chief Executive Officer

Michael joins the Southern Grampians Shire from the City of Melton where he headed up Economic Development and Advocacy. He has a strong history in population growth and urban development, having been Growth Areas Executive at Melton for the two years prior to this. Previous to his roles at the City of Melton, Michael was the Director of School and Community Partnerships at DPCD for two years and the Director of Caroline Springs Partnerships at the Department for Victorian Communities for four years.

Michael also has a solid background in business having run his own management consultancy firm for almost ten years and has held a number of Governance roles including Government and Statutory Authority Boards, Not-For-Profit and Local Government as a Councillor and Mayor with the Moorabool Shire Council.

Michael is a Fellow with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and in 2011 was awarded an Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his contribution to Australian Fire Services.
