Southern Grampians Shire Council will commence the pruning of street trees in the Hamilton CBD on Monday, June 5.
Every two years, more than 100 London Plane Trees along Brown, Gray, Thompson, French, Kennedy and Lonsdale streets are trimmed back to keep the area tidy and safe. Two crews will be operating over the next two weeks to complete the required pruning program.
Impacts to both vehicle and foot traffic and parking will be minimal with crews working from parking bays, with crews working between 7:30am and 5pm each day.
Council will visit affected businesses prior to works commencing to ensure they are aware of the works happening and to answer any questions.
