Community groups and businesses in the Southern Grampians Shire can now easily find and apply for grants, with a ‘Grant Finder’ search engine now available on Council’s website.
Council invested in the search engine powered by GrantGuru, so the local community could search for grants and funding opportunities offered by other governments, corporates, and philanthropic services across Australia.
You can simply use the search engine to find and filter grants by specifying location, industry, and type of project.
The web portal also assists with advice and top tips for finding and applying for grants to maximise your changes of receiving the funding you need.
You can choose to receive alerts for new grants and, most importantly, keep track of opening and closing dates so you never miss an opportunity again.
Council’s CEO Tony Doyle said there were a lot of great funding opportunities out there, but the process of finding and applying for grants could be daunting and time consuming.
“The Southern Grampians Shire Grant Finder will take the guess work out of searching for grants and help groups and businesses easily navigate the process,” said Mr Doyle.
“We want to support our local communities and increase the chances of funding success across our region.”
