The Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC) Occasional Care Centre offers childcare and education within our community. This service is available for your children, whether you’re using the HILAC facilities or simply need a short period of care for work, appointments, sports and recreation, shopping or study.
HILAC’s childcare professionals are highly skilled and offer children aged seven weeks to seven years of age an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating environment. Your children will be offered a wide range of educational experiences geared towards their interests and development level. We also offer an indoor/outdoor program in fine weather utilizing our sand pit, lawn and garden play spaces. It’s the perfect environment for your child to practice independence, decision making and social skills with support from our educators.
This service is governed by the Department of Education and Training, under the Victorian Children’s Services Regulations and Act.
The HILAC Occasional Care Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm including school holidays.

This service provides childcare by the hour, government child care rebate and benefit are available to assist eligible families.
