Changing Places - Hamilton

Changing-Places-1.jpg

Changing Places are accessible public toilets with extra features for people with high support needs who cannot use a standard accessible toilet. They provide more space and equipment, such as an adult-sized changing bench, a hoist, and often a shower, to accommodate people with disabilities and their carers. The aim is to promote social inclusion, dignity, and independence.

Hamilton has a Changing Places facility located on the Kennedy Street side of the Hamilton Botanic Gardens.

In order to access a Changing Places facility, you must have a Changing Places key. This is a Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK), a universal key for 24/7 access to secure public facilities, including Changing Places facilities.

To apply for an MLAK key, please visit Master Locksmiths Association of Australasia Limited - MLAK
