| Cr. Marcus Rentsch was elected Southern Grampians Shire Council Mayor on December 5, 2007.
The Mayor is available to meet with members of the public each Friday afternoon to discuss any issues.
An appointment can be made by contacting Elaine Riddle on 5573 0412 and residents are also to provide a brief outline of the matter to be discussed.
Groups or individuals are also encouraged to invite the Mayor to attend functions. Invitations should be in writing at least 14 days prior to the function and indicate the role the Mayor will play at the function (i.e. welcome speech, presentation etc.) Briefing material should also be provided to allow the Mayor to be adequately prepared.
All invitations to the Mayor should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Locked Bag 685, Hamilton, 3300.
