The Dunkeld Visitor Hub will improve facilities near and around the Dunkeld Visitor Information Centre and the Memorial Park, particularly for those finishing the world-class Grampians Peaks Trail.
The project is supported by a $500k grant from Regional Development Victoria (RDV). Project elements include:
- New parking on Wills Street
- New pathways and lighting in Memorial Park
- New traffic refuge across Parker Street
- Construction of a viewing deck and shelter at the Dunkeld Visitor Information Centre
- Construction of connecting walking paths to Salt Creek and the Grampians Peaks Trail
- New wayfinding signage
