**RECYCLING IN SOUTHERN GRAMPIANS SHIRE**
You may have heard recent reports of pressures impacting the recycling industry due to the Chinese restrictions on recycling imports. Southern Grampians Shire Council wish to advise residents at present, this is not impacting on council operations.
We ask our residents to continue recycling as normal, as our collection services will remain unchanged.
Councils across the state, including Southern Grampians Shire Council are working with the Victorian Government and industry as a matter for urgency to respond to the issues posed by the Chinese restrictions on importing recycling material, to ensure this matter will not impact our residents.
