Events Forum

Southern Grampians Shire Council is committed to helping develop the knowledge, skills and confidence of our local event organisers to run safe, successful and legally compliant events.

The Events Forum is an annual day for event organisers, community groups, volunteers, businesses, entrepreneurs, venue owners and those working in the events space to come together and learn from industry experts and peers, develop skills, network and be inspired through talks, workshops, information and hands-on learning.

The Events Forum will take place on Friday 28 June 2019 at the Kantor Music & Performing Arts Centre at The Hamilton & Alexandra College - 1 Chaucer Street, Hamilton VIC 3300.

We have a great line-up of speakers to help us "Push The Boundaries" of our events!

This year we welcome digital marketing experts, numerous experienced event organisers and business owners, a media personality and key contacts from Council, the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre and Cinema.

Three break-out sessions will run in the afternoon: on creating video content; funding your events; and targeting custom audiences on Facebook.

Throughout the day you have access to helpful resources, delicious local catering, and we end with networking wines and soft drinks.
