Road & Street Maintenance

Southern Grampians Shire Council maintains the majority of roads, streets, footpaths and gutters within the Shire. When calling the Council's Physical Services Department to report roads that are causing concern, please note the location and whether you are reporting potholes, corrugations or drainage. Queries can be directed to Council's Physical Services department on (03) 5573 0256.

Private Driveways

	It is the owner's responsibility to maintain gravel driveways, including the section between the road and property line.
	If gravel from driveways blocks culverts, it is the owner's responsibility to unblock, maintain and keep culverts in working order.

Street Lighting

	Faulty or flickering street lights should be directed to Powercor by calling the 24 hour, 7 day a week hotline on 13 24 12 or through the website www.powercor.com.au
	Powercor guarantees that all reports will be fixed within 2 days.

Works Within Road Reserve

Are you planning to conduct works on a Road Reserve? Residents can apply for consent to conduct any proposed works or notify Council of any completed works in a Road Reserve by filling in the “Works Within Road Reserve” Application Form.
