| The Hamilton Cinema recently re-opened following a major refurbishment and is now managed by Council as part of its Performing Arts Centre.
The facility boasts comfortable new seating, kiosk and ticket selling area as well as the redecoration of the cinema foyer. The projection equipment has also been upgraded allowing films to be shown in both traditional 35mm print format and in the new digital format and movies are now played in Stereo Surround Sound.
The upgraded kiosk offers freshly made popcorn, ground coffee and a variety of other sweets and refreshments.
The Cinema has a seating capacity of 121 and there is excellent access for wheelchair users.
A hearing loop is also available in all parts of the Cinema.

Tickets are on sale 30 minutes prior to each film session.
