Southern Grampians Shire Council provides a Library Service to all residents in the Shire. It operates as part of the Central Highlands Libraries Group and offers 24 hour online access to a large range of resources via the website www.centralhighlandslibraries.org.au

The Hamilton Branch is open seven days a week and the purpose built Mobile Library visits towns and communities across the Shire. See below for further information.

The Library Service also provides free internet access, including wireless for customers own devices and laptops.

Printing, photocopying, scanning and faxing are also available as pay per use.

Membership to the library is free for all residents, drop into the Hamilton branch at:

Programs
Programs currently being offered at the Library include:

Baby Rhyme Time* - Every Wednesday at 10.30am during school terms. Ideally suited for babies aged from birth to 30 months old.

Story Time* - Every Tuesday at 10.30am. This program is designed for 3 to 5 year olds and is theme based involving picture books, stories to tell, songs, rhymes and a simple related activity.

Book Club - Ask library staff about joining the book club that meets on Fridays.

School Holiday Programs - The Library offers a number of activities during the school holidays. Check the latest events calendar on www.centralhighlandslibraries.org.au or pick up a flyer from the Library.

Mobile Library Service
The Mobile Library Service visits the Southern Grampians towns of Balmoral, Cavendish, Coleraine, Dunkeld, Glenthompson, Mirranatwa, and Penshurst.
